Head Distiller Dave Smith of St. George Spirits fell in love with his partner in New Orleans, and then named his coffee liqueur after that magical city. Made from Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee beans that are roasted locally and then ground and cold macerated in neutral spirit at the distillery in Alameda, CA. The infusion is then blended with French-roast chicory, Madagascar vanilla, and lightly sweetened with cane sugar. It is complex with an earthy depth and a lovely balance between sweetness and bitterness.
