The Reconquista is a cocktail that we came up with for at Prizefighter Bar in 2014. It's a Negroni riff featuring Mezcal in place of the Gin. We also swap in Cappelletti Aperitivo for Campari, and the more bitter Punt e Mes Vermouth for the classic sweet vermouth. The vanilla notes and soft bitterness of the Cappelletti are complemented by the bitter botanical edge of Punt e Mes, a sweet vermouth from Carpano that is 1.5 times as bitter as a regular sweet vermouth. The drink has remained on our menu ever since and is one of our favorites. This kit contains the makings of at least 20 cocktails if you follow the spec listed below.

Reconquista
.75 oz Punt e Mes
1 oz Cappelletti
1.25 oz San Bartolo Mezcal

Stir all ingredients over ice in a mixing glass until well chilled and properly diluted. Strain into a frozen coupe glass and garnish with an orange peel expressed over the top of the drink and rubbed around the rim of the glass.
