Produced for Tequila importer Jake Lustig by La Tequileña distillery. They are the masters of maturation and this is an excellent example of that. A blend of 2 and 3 year aged spirit in French oak that are vatted and then aged for a further year in American oak. Very barrel forward aromas and flavors of oak/vanilla/cinnamon but with a strong underlying flavor of roasted agave. Their genius lies in keeping that structure of the base spirit despite it's long aging.
