40% ABV

This brand is named after the founder, Eduardo "Lalo" Gonzalez. Lalo is the nickname given to him by his grandfather, Don Julio Gonzalez of the legendary tequila brand. It is made at NOM 1468 and has no connection to Don Julio Tequila other than familial relations. Made from Highland Agaves that are roasted in brick ovens and crushed with a roller mill. It is fermented in stainless tanks with champagne yeast and then double distilled in copper pots. It is chill filtered and aerated to give it a richer mouthfeel. A very approachable blanco with sweet agave and floral notes and minimal vegetal or mineral flavors. Excellent in cocktails with citrus or sipped on its own.
