Selene Beaujolais Primeur (Nouveau) 2024

12% ABV

100% Gamay from the village of Blace in Beaujolais. Sylvere Trichard farms 8 hectares of 20-80 year old vines planted on sandy clay soils over granite. He follows biodynamic principles in his farming but is not certified. He ferments with native yeasts and all of the reds undergo carbonic maceration. 

This is a Nouveau style that was bottled immediately after the fermentation finished and immediately sent into the market. A classic on the Thanksgiving and holiday table. Berry fruits and white pepper flavors. A simple and pleasurable drink.
