Narupa Albariño Caneco 2024

12.5% ABV

Albariño is the most common grape variety in the Rias Baixas region in Galicia, Spain. This bottling comes from a winery owned by four friends in the Val do Salnés Valley. They practice rational viticulture, combining ecological, biological, and minimal systemic treatments. The winemaking process involves crushing and cold maceration of the grapes for 30 hours, followed by fermentation with native yeasts in barrels where it remains for approximately 10 months. The Caneco is an Albariño aged for 9 months in stainless steel tanks on the lees. It is bright and crisp with saline, floral, and citrus flavors with balanced acidity and interesting minerality.
