Pierre Chainier Topette Chenin 2024

"Topette" means "see you later" in the local dialect of the Loire Valley in France. 100% Chenin Blanc from multiple sites in the Loire, all sustainably farmed. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks. This is an everyday quaffable wine of surprising quality and depth. It has some lovely melony fruit, floral notes, and bracing acidity. A wonderful bottle to sip on it's own but would pair well with lighter fare as well.
