Bordiga Amaro Dilei

Bordiga is a distillery located in the town of Cuneo which is near Turin in Piemonte, Italy. They produce a range of Vermouth, Amari, and spirits and source nearly all of the botanicals that they use from within 50 miles of their distillery. They infuse each botanical in neutral spirit separately and blend them for the final product. 

This is an alpine style amaro of medium-high bitterness. Mint and thyme are the prominent flavors. The balancing bitterness is provided by two different types of gentian and by cinchona bark. The classic alpine botanical genepy gives a floral background note.
