Distilleria Varnelli has produced Amari since the mid-19th century in the Marche in Italy. It's made from herbs, roots and barks as well as honey from the Sibillini Mountains that give it its name. A long aging and decanting process leave it smooth and transparent. Moderate bitterness and mild sweetness. Only 5000 Liters a year are produced.
