Named for the mountain near the Mars Shinshu distillery in Nagano, Japan, this annual single malt release never disappoints. A blend of 3-5 year old whiskies made from both peated and unpeated barley aged in a mix of ex-Bourbon, Sherry, and Port casks. Received a Gold Medel at the 2023 SF Spirits Competition. Has notes of cereal grains, milk chocolate, and honied sweetness. One of our favorite Japanese single malts year after year.
