48.2% ABV

This is a blend of 2 Campbeltown malt whiskies: a 15 year old Hazelburn (triple distilled at Springbank) and a 16 year old Kilkerran (made at Springbank's sister distillery, Glengyle), both aged in ex-Bourbon casks. We would gladly drink either of those casks on their own but this is perhaps even better than the sum of its parts! Oily mouthfeel with a fruity malt sweetness, black pepper, minerality, and a lengthy and pleasing finish. If you like the Campbeltown Loch blended malt, you will love this.

The whiskies we bottle in our Cadenhead’s Enigma series are just that – unusual, hard to quantify, perhaps even slightly contradictory. They can be single casks, vattings of multiple casks, blends, blended malts or whatever else we can find that doesn’t fit into our existing bottling lineup but meets our only essential criteria – that they’re good.
