Brucato Amaro was founded in San Francisco by Sierra and James Clark, a wife and husband team in San Francisco and named after

John G. Brucato, founder of the SF Farmers Market.

Orchards is meant to evoke the bounty of California produce. Apricots, walnuts, Meyer lemon, orange, and cinnamon are the dominant flavors. The producer recommends using it in place of Aperol or Campari but we like it as a lightly bitter after dinner liqueur as well.
