Made from triple distilled, 100% Malted Irish Barley, this Single Barrel is the brainchild of master distiller Darryl McNally. Descended from the family that owned the Limavady Distillery, he sources whiskey while they try to reestablish the distillery in his hometown of Limavady in Northern Ireland. Aged in ex-Bourbon casks and finished in PX Sherry casks, it has notes of butterscotch, citrus oil, and a bit of pepper on the finish. Soft and sweet on entry with a bit of a balancing bite on the finish.
