Brucato Spirits Mission Gin

Brucato is a spirits company in San Francisco that looks to highlight the local bounty of California produce. They started out making Amaro that are brandy based macerations of herbs, fruits, spices and barks that are lightly sweetened for balance. They have since built a distillery in the Mission District of San Francisco and are now making other spirits and liqueurs as well. 

Their Gin is made from a base of grape spirits and contains classic gin botanicals like lots of California Juniper, coriander, cardamom, and citrus. It is dry and bright, very juniper forward with some citric freshness and a complex botanical profile. Not exactly a London Dry style gin but it works very well in classic applications. We particularly like it with Tonic Water.
