Rhine Hall Guava Eau de Vie

Rhine Hall is an Eau de Vie distillery in Chicago founded by a father daughter team in 2012. In 2023, they launched a line of tropical fruit Eau de Vie that they produce in partnership with a mezcal distiller in the Mexican state of Zacatecas. They puree ripe Guavas and carefully ferment and distill them in a stainless steel alembic. No additives of any kind and bottled at 40% ABV. 

This is an incredible aromatic experience as the fresh guava notes leap out of the glass. Lemon, dried pineapple, and coconut notes. On the palate, it's hard to believe that it isn't sweetened! Tropical fruit sweetness with a touch of vanilla. This spirit makes a delightful highball with soda and a squeeze of lime. You can also make a split base cocktail like a Daiquiri with white Rum, or a stirred cocktail like a Martini with Vodka or a citrusy Gin.
