See the Elephant Amaro

Rucola means Arugula in Italian. So yes, this is in fact an Arugula Amaro. Produced on a family farm on the Cilento Coast, south of Naples and Amalfi in Southern Italy. A true farm to bottle Amaro as the botanicals are sourced from the Parco Nazionale de Cilento which is adjacent to the distillery. This area grows most of the lettuce consumed in Italy, hence the use of local Arugula/Rucola. It has aromas of bubblegum and cola with a peppery bittersweetness and a round and balanced finish. It can be sipped neat as a digestivo after a big meal, or mixed into cocktails like a Black Manhattan.

Since, the term has been used when you go out into the world to see something with your own eyes. People will say they’re going to see the elephant!
