Averna Amaro

29% ABV

Sicilian Amaro that is perhaps best known today as an important ingredient in the modern classic Black Manhattan cocktail. Bittersweet with prominent orange peel and fennel notes. Juniper berries, rosemary, myrtle and sage are also included. A delightful medium bitter and sweet digestivo in addition to an easy mixer with brown spirits or over ice with a splash of soda or tonic water.

2oz Rye Whiskey
1oz Averna
1 Dash Angostura Bitters
1 Dash Orange Bitters
Stir over ice in a mixing glass and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with an Amarena Cherry.
