Is it a chillable Red wine? Yes. Is it an Orange wine? Also yes. In actuality, it's somewhere in between. Regardless of what it is, we are big fans. Made a few miles away from our shop over in West Berkeley, Tessier makes delicious, clean natural wines from vineyard sites all over California. This one works equally well as a porch-pounder shared with friends as it does paired with lighter fare at the table.

Producer Notes:
A tribute to David Bowie, named after the song “Soul Love”. Organically farmed blend of white and red grapes, expression is somewhere between a chill-able red and a heavy rosé. Skin fermented (orange) Sauvignon Blanc (63%) from Sonoma, Cinsault (33%) from Clements Hills near Lodi and Mourvèdre (4%) from El Dorado. Individually fermented using native yeast, aged on the lees in neutral French oak and racked into stainless steel before bottling. Un-fined and un-filtered.

Transparent ruby red color. Aromas of fruit punch and plumeria with raspberry, strawberry and grippy tannins.
