Taylor Fladgate Late Bottled Vintage Port 2019

Taylor Fladgate invented the style of Late Bottled Vintage Port in 1970. Unlike vintage Port which is usually aged for 2-3 years in barrel and require significant bottle aging, LBV is aged for a longer period of 5-6 years in barrel and are meant to be drunk soon after release. They possess some of the character of vintage port but are more affordable and ready to drink sooner. 

The 2019 is well structured with woodsy berry fruit and soft tannin. Silken texture and sweetness that is balanced by the tannin and acidity. A classic pairing with Blue Cheese and chocolate desserts.
