Suerte is a single brand distillery located in Atotonilco el Alto in the Highlands of Jalisco. They use 100% estate grown blue webber agaves of a minimum of 6 years old to make their Tequilas. They roast the agaves in brick ovens for 52 hours and crush them with a stone tahona. The mash is fermented with spring water in stainless steel tanks and is distilled in stainless pot stills with copper coils. This reposado was aged for 7 months in ex Bourbon barrels. The flavor is agave forward with notes of vanilla, citrus and black pepper. An excellent value sipper that mixes well in cocktails as well.
