Plymouth is one of the only gins that is both a brand and a category. The roots of the distillery in the town of Plymouth in Devonshire England date back to the 15th century when the Dominican "Black Friars" first started making spirits there. It is related to London Dry Gin but has more citrus and earthy aromas and flavors. A bone dry flavor profile makes it an ideal gin for Martini's.
