Made at Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky from a mash bill of 60% Rye, 20% Corn, and 20% Malted Barley and bottled at a robust 100 proof. 

Tasting Notes:
Aged more than 4 years, the 2026 vintage of Pinhook Rye showcases a bright nose of green apple, mint, candied clove, and vanilla, and leads to a decadent palate of baked pear, black licorice, caramel, and cinnamon.

About Pinhook:
Pinhook is an independent bottler of American Whiskey based in Louisville, Kentucky. It was started by a Sommelier/bar owner from NYC in partnership with a "Pinhooker" from Kentucky. Pinhooking is the practice of purchasing young horses based on lineage, training them, and reselling them at a much higher price. This is how they saw their whiskey project as they would purchase barrels of new make spirit, and then age/blend/bottle them themselves.
