Pekut & Carwick Citrus X Aurantium California Vin d'Orange

Vin d'Orange is a fortified wine that is infused with oranges and spices. Seville Oranges, vanilla and some other citrus and spices are infused into an aromatic white wine from Hammerling Wines in Berkeley, then lightly sweetened and fortified with brandy. Orange Orange Orange! And a bit of vanilla and some bittering grapefruit pith notes. This stuff is lovely on its own over ice, with a splash of soda, or mixed into spritzes and Aperitivi.
