Maurin Quina Aperitif

16% ABV

Classic French Aperitif that was created in 1906 by Auguste Maurin in Le Puy en Velay, France. Made famous by it's iconic label featuring an impish green devil, drawn by the artist Leonetto Cappiello and reproduced on posters in Bistros around the globe. Made from a white wine base that is macerated with cherries, quinine, bitter almond, with the addition of cherry brandy, cherry juice, and lemon. Nutty, lightly sweet and cherry forward, it is an easy spritz mixer and works as an interesting substitute for Sweet Vermouth as well.
