Martini's Red Bitter was inspired by the the original 1872 Martini Bitter recipe. Botanicals used include saffron, Angostura bark, columba, and Italian wormwood. It is rested in casks that previously held Martini's Riserva Speciale Vermouth. Naturally colored with carmine, derived from the cochineal beetle. NOT FOR VEGETARIANS! Spicy and aggressively bitter with notes of citrus and a sweet, mouth coating finish. A fantastic naturally colored substitute for Campari.
