Ensamble of Agave Inaequidens and Tequiliana from Michoacan. Inaequidens is known locally in this part of Michoacan as Bruto, Tequiliana as Azul. Produced by Maestro Hernån Hernandez Scott in the village of Indaparapeo. The agaves are pit roasted with Encino wood, crushed with a shredder, and spontaneously fermented with well water in wooden tinas. It is double distilled in a Filipino style still made from wood and copper. It is richly spiced with intense roasted agave notes and balanced acidity. A delightful Mezcal in a tiny package.
