Kanosuke Double Distillery Japanese Whisky

Kanosuke is probably our favorite of the new school Japanese Whisky distilleries. Their blend of tradition and innovation is constantly surprising us for the richness and complexity of their extremely flavorful whiskies. This is a blend of their 2 main styles of whiskey; a lightly peated single malt from their namesake distillery, and a combination of unpeated malted and unmalted barley distilled at the nearby Hioki Distillery in their stainless steel, vacuum stills. Fruity on the nose with notes of ripe melon and stone fruits. On the palate, it's complex with black tea, citrus and fruit flavors. No added colors and non-chill filtered.

Kanosuke’s Double Distillery Blended Malt & Grain Whisky is the result of the combined efforts of two brothers wishing to honor their grandfather, Kanosuke Komasa, with a collaborative whisky blend. Distilled at both the Kanosuke Distillery and nearby Hioki Distillery, this blend of malted and unmalted whiskies produced from 100% barley is carefully crafted to accentuate each of its components while rounding out the core range from Kanosuke.
