Grain to glass Malt Whisky from a farm distillery in Hunmanby Yorkshire on the northeast coast of England. The Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery is a also a farm and a brewery and they were the first distillery in Yorkshire when they opened in 2016. They harvest 2 row barley from their farm, floor malt, mill, mash ferment, and double distill in a custom copper pot/column hybrid still. This is their Flagship malt which is aged in ex-Bourbon casks and bottled without additives nor chill filtration. An approachable dram, it is fruity, creamy, pale in color, with notes of cereal grain and a lovely mouthfeel.
