Empress 1908 Indigo Gin

42.5% ABV

This is the flagship Gin from Victoria Distillers and it was inspired by the afternoon tea service at the Empress Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia. It has a purple hue from the addition of butterfly pea flowers. Depending on the mixer used with the gin, it will give the cocktail a fuscia, lavender, or pink color. The botanical mix also includes mediteranean juniper, rose petal, black tea, and grapefruit. Though not a traditional London Dry, it works remarkably well in classic Gin cocktails, particularly those with citrus.
