El Viejito Plata Tequila

The flagship eponymous brand of the Tequila El Viejito Distillery in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, Mexico. That town is best known for Tequila giants Patròn and Siete Leguas, but El Viejito is, as it says on the label, is "El primer Tequila de Atotonilco" or the First Tequila brand founded there. It is one of the best value bottles around. Additive free, slightly overproof at 42% ABV, with agave forward flavor profile and notes of black pepper, earth and minerals.
