V.E.P. stands for "Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé" or in English, exceptionally prolonged aging. This is the pinnacle of the magical liqueurs produced by the Carthusian Monks in the Chartreuse Mountains of France. The VEP is assembled from particularly exquisite batches of, in this case Yellow or "Jaune" Chartreuse that are aged in demi-muid barrels for much longer than the standard production. The liqueur gains further depth of flavor and softness on the palate. These bottles are EXCEEDINGLY rare, so much so that they are nearly impossible to find, even in France. This is best enjoyed neat after a legendary meal.
