Casa Mariol Vermut Negre

Sweet Vermouth/Vermut from a Catalunian winery that also has a popular wine bar and shop in Barcelona near the iconic Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Made from organic Macabeo white wine and colored only with the botanicals and black walnuts, no added caramel color. Incredibly well balanced sweet vermouth that is lovely on its own over ice, with a splash of soda water, or mixed into any cocktail that calls for sweet vermouth.

Made with selected white grapes, darkened and macerated with herbs local to Terra Alta.
Appearance
Mahogany colour with chestnut tones.
Aroma
Aromas of thyme and vanilla, gentle notes of orange peel, cinnamon, liquorice and clove.
Taste
Very refreshing acidity, very well balanced, rounded, complex and with a strong personality. Slight bitter touch at the finish with caramel notes.
