Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Select Bourbon - Prizefighter

The regular release of Buffalo Trace is a benchmark American whiskey. We think that this Prizefighter Single Barrel pick is an improvement on that classic bottle. It is a non-age statement release, but we know that it was distilled and barreled in February of 2014 and we picked it in early 2025. Safe to assume that it's about 10 years old. A brilliant amber color, on the nose it has a floral delicacy that we don't associate with the regular bottling. Aromas of apple cider, baking spices and toasty oak. On the palate, it's light as a feather with just a whisper of alcoholic burn. The finish is perhaps the best part: it goes on forever. We are pretty proud of this one.
