Brugal's "Double Aged" rum spends up to 8 years in ex-Bourbon casks and a further 6 years in Sherry casks prior to bottling. A wonderful entry level sipping rum that has minimal sugar additions. Notes of vanilla, red fruits and toffee. 1888 refers to the year that the distillery was founded by the Brugal family in the Dominican Republic.
