Delightful sipping vermouth from a venerable Sherry producer. Made from a base of Manzanilla Sherry from 2 of their cellars in Sanlucar de Barrameda and infused with wormwood, quassia, bitter orange, rosemary and elderberry. It was inspired by casks known as the Atamàn Reserves which were quinquina wines and old Vermouths made by a previous generation at the Bodega and registered as a vermouth in 1946. The name refers to a Cossack warrior but it's unknown why it was named as such. We think it should be sipped neat or over ice with a wedge of orange.
