Awayuki Strawberry Infused Gin

Japanese Gin that is infused with the finest pink and white strawberries grown in Japan’s Nara Prefecture. There is a tradition in Japan of gifting visually perfect, unblemished, fully ripe fruits, particularly to someone who hosts you in their home. The grower of these strawberries can only use about 60% of his crop for these "perfect" strawberries, so the remaining slightly blemished ones are upcycled into this Gin. 

Juniper forward and floral with ripe strawberry notes and snappy, drying coriander. Juicy berry fruits but not sweet at all. Can be sipped on it's own over ice, mixes well with citrus and makes a lovely if unusual Gin and Tonic.
