Ancho Chiles grown in the shadow of Popocatépetl, the mythic volcano in Puebla Mexico are infused in neutral cane spirit for 6 months prior to being lightly sweetened and bottled. Ancho Reyes has an incredible depth of flavor with spicy chile notes, earthy and mineral flavors, and a light texture that make it a wonderful modifier for all manner of cocktails. It plays well with agave spirits, rum, and gin particularly well.
