"Taffel" means "table" in Danish and refers to unaged Aquavit. This is a classic of the style with loads of caraway, fruit, and a lovely viscosity. The Danes usually drink it neat out of the freezer but this is of a quality that it can be sipped or shot at room temperature as well. A lovely addition to the holiday table as it pairs nicely with charcuterie and wintery fare.
