Gvantsa and her siblings Baia and Georgi make wine in the town of Obcha in western Georgia. The country of Georgia is considered the cradle of wine with archeological evidence of production dating back 8000 years. There are hundreds of indigenous grapes used in wine production which has flourished in the post-communist period.
This is a direct pressed Rosé made from organic Aladasturi grapes that are fermented with native yeasts and minimal sulfur additions. Crisp and dry with notes of red berries and a creamy mouthfeel.
