Grain to glass Single Malt Whiskey from Tucson, Arizona. Made with an eye towards Scotch Malt Whisky, they start by drying and smoking their two-row malted barley over a mesquite wood fire. They mash, ferment, and double distill in a 500 gallon copper pot still and bottle the blend without added color or chill filtration. 

The use of mesquite wood gives the whiskey a distinct ashen, barbeque-like smokey quality on the nose. Notes of pipe smoke and dark chocolate. On the palate there is pleasant tannin and sweet toffee notes. An elegant and unusual Southwestern take on smoky single malt whiskey.
