That's what the Bourbon writer Fred Minnick said about this whiskey winning the prestigious ASCOT Award for best Bourbon of 2024. Smokeye Hill is a Colorado based whiskey company that sources their whiskey from the MGP Distillery in Lawrenceburg Indiana. They developed an exclusive mashbill utilizing blue corn in the mash which is the first of its kind produced at MGP (maker of many of your favorite whiskey brands). It prevailed in the ASCOT awards when tasted blind against titans of Bourbon Whiskey like George T. Stagg and EH Taylor Small Batch. 

Aged for at least 5 years. Full flavored, bright with notes of cinnamon, barrel char, and stone fruit.
