50% ABV

Made at the Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay but named after a mothballed distillery just down the road in the town of Port Charlotte. Unlike Bruichladdich which is known for being the least peated malt produced on Islay, this line of Whiskies is intensely peaty yet retains some finesse and subtlety. An almost BBQ like smoke quality with a distinct sea foam, saline edge with some rich malty notes and fruitiness. A robust 50% ABV but still relatively easy drinking.
