Made from 95% corn, 5% malted barley, and distilled in a Coffey (aka Column) still at the Miyagikyo Distillery. Aged in ex-Bourbon barrels that have been re-toasted and charred. Toasty butterscotch with sweet corn notes and a lighter body. Is perfect for an elevated highball or sipped neat.

About Nikka Whisky Distilling:

One of the 2 titans of Japanese distilling, the other being Suntory. Founded by Masataka Taketsuru in 1934. He had learned about whisky making in Scotland at the Hazelburn distillery in 1918 before returning to Japan to help found Suntory before splitting off to open his own distillery. They have 2 distilleries in Japan, Yoichi in Hokkaido and Miyagikyo in Honshu as well as the Ben Nevis distillery in Scotland. They produce a range of Malt and Grain whiskies in addition to a Gin and Vodka.
