Mars Whisky 'The Lucky Cat, May & Hana'

A blend of lightly peated malt whisky from the Mars Komagatake Distillery in Nagano Japan, and grain whiskies. This is the 10th edition of the Lucky Cat series that honors the distillery cats of Mars Komagatake Distillery. The whisky is aged in ex-Pedro Ximenez barrels and ex-port wine casks for an undisclosed period of time. Bottled without additives nor chill filtration. 

This is an unctuous, almost dessert like whisky with aromas of vanilla, caramel, and raisin that lead to a palate of stewed apricot, bittersweet chocolate, and ripe red berries. A perfect gift for the whisky drinking cat lover in your life.
