Ichiro's Malt Chichibu Distillery II Single Malt

55.5% ABV

The first whisky release from Chichibu Distillery II in Saitama, Japan which is just down the road from Ichiro Saitama's original distillery. This one is five times larger than it's sister distillery and is meant to help satisfy the massive demand for the brand and Ichiro's whiskies and further evolve the house style. 

Made from 100% malted barley, a portion of which is heavily peated. Fermented for 100 hours in French oak washbacks and double distilled in Forsyth pot stills. Aged 4-5 years in ex-Bourbon casks with no age statement and bottled without additives or chill filtration.
