Glenglassaugh is a Highland Distillery that sits just outside the western border of Speyside, perched against the water of Sandend Bay. This bottling was named Whiskey Advocates Whiskey of the Year for 2023. Buttery vanilla and tropical fruit are lush on the front palate and is "infused with a crack of sea salt" as they say of all of their whiskies. It is certainly worthy of the accolades and is one of the most pleasing and lush bottles of whisky we've tasted in quite some time.
