Wheated, Bottled in Bond Bourbon from Long Island, New York. A small batch, sweet mash Bourbon, meaning that only yeast is added to the mash, and non of the spent mash aka backset from the previous batch as you would with a Sour Mash Whiskey. This allows the distiller to have greater control over the fermentation but also increases the risk of bacterial growth. It has some the light sweetness that you expect from a wheater with a lovely cereal grain quality. Top notch, properly proofed and aged Bourbon from an up and coming craft distiller.
