Faer Isles Distillery Subsea Vodka

Faer Isles is a Distillery on the Faroe Islands, a remote island chain in the north sea that is part of the Kingdom of Denmark. They produce malt whisky, vodka, gin, and 2 different Akvavit. They proof their spirits with water from an undersea aquifer that is over 1 million years old and use different varietals of seaweed in all of their white spirits. They add a small amount of a seaweed distillate to the grain spirit which adds minerality, salinity, and a floral note. Although this vodka is not flavored, it is far from the odorless/flavorness standard set by most commercially produced Vodkas. This one has tons of flavor and character.
