Nick and Nora-Gold Rim

Nick and Nora glasses were a small Martini glass that emerged in the 1930's and were popularized by bar legend Dale Degroff at the Rainbow Room in Manhattan in the 1980's. His protege Audrey Saunders used them frequently at bar programs where she consulted as well as at her own bar, The Pegu Club, also in Manhattan. This 5oz glass has an elegant gold leaf rim. Perfectly sized for a Martini, unlike the ubiquitous, gigantic triangle shaped Martini glass that was popularized in the 1980's.
