Rhum J.M. Fumée Volcanique Vieux Agricole

The L'Atelier des Rhums line from Rhum J.M. are designed for use in cocktails with each bottling meant to express a particular flavor profile. The Fumée Volcanique is aged for just over 1 year in very heavily re-charred American oak casks which lend it a smoky, oaky vanilla note on top of it's sugarcane richness. We like this expression in stirred, spirit forward cocktails like a Rhum Old Fashioned or mixed with Vermouth and other aromatised wines. Think of it like the younger, slightly tougher sibling of their fabulous Terroir Volcanique.
